horror is snubbed but both RE2:R and Alan Wake 2 got GOTY noms at Game Awards, AW2 won Critic's choice at Joystick and 3 awards at TGA, and RE2 got Joystick's GOTY and SH2 has been nominated in 5 categories at TGA. Horror games enjoy much better awards seasons than films or TV.
