This was an issue back in the 90’s when I was a bookstore manager. Book would be featured on Oprah and I’d only have 3 copies of it in store and out of stock at the warehouses. It was not unusual for me to drive to Ingram to scrounge a box or two of a bestseller because shipping took too long.

Seriously? My husband has been told he’s being laid off next year, prices have increased so much I need to help my mom out with groceries, and we’ve had to put off some needed home repairs because of tariffs making supplies unaffordable.

I’m currently undergoing immunotherapy and got the updated COVID vaccine before I knew about this. I’m thrilled that the vaccine might make my immunotherapy more effective.

It was beautiful here in Baton Rouge too! My husband and I celebrated Oktoberfest at a local brewery. Now I’m getting my words in for my book. Perfect day!

I’m heading off to Vegas in three weeks for a work conference, staying Monday through Friday. My plane tickets are more expensive than my hotel, and I’m stuck in middle seats the entire time because otherwise I’d have to pay an extra $200. Ridiculous.
