anyways, everything is a horror if you want it to be. I once successfully (and very jokingly) convinced the Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock showrunner that Fraggle Rock could be a horror story

If you're a horror hound who watches only for cool monsters (which this absolutely has) and freaky kills (which this arguably has) and it needs to be "AHHH SCARY" for it to be horror, then nothing is horror because you're that guy who isn't (or pretends to not be) scared by horror films

Iron Lung is 99% slow simmering dread. The world and story make it horror. That a Youtuber who made a career being a "scream at indie horror game" guy also made this slow burning, purposeful, never-once-pandering, never dumbed down film that demands you DON'T kill time on your phone, is a marvel.
