I'm actually here now I guess
Sometimes you start glancing through a walkthrough made in 2004 and the tone hits you in the head like an 18 wheeler. What a time it was.

Mastery#252- This game, in the technical sense, is better than DKL. But its not as weird so... its actually worse? kinda? I'd be happy with this as a kid with a game boy though, its like 90% DKC2.

Mastery#251- Nice to see that this already got its set pretty quick after the discovery, but there's not a lot going on here so not too bad to rush my way through this in a morning. I guess all that's left is that game gear version...

Mastery#250- One last badge to ring in the new year, and on a milestone to boot. Poyo!
January 1, 2026 at 12:59 AM
Mastery#249- A much more fleshed out game then its predecessor, with the caveat that its still pretty damn janky. This team wouldn't really find a groove until Sleeping Dogs. Shit I should play Sleeping Dogs again...

I have completed Achievement of the Week for the year. Had a great time with it, will probably do it again next year.

Mastery#248- Decided it was time to go back and clean this one up in lieu of the sega channel dump happening lately. Those lost levels are gonna get a set so I'll be doing that in the future I guess.

Mastery#247- Fun little collection here as a predecessor to the proper Game and Watch Gallery games, sad it never came to NTSC territory. Manhole can die in a fire though.

Mastery#246- Took me quite a while, among being sick AF and needing to take day trips away from the house, but I got it in the end. Speed runs are pretty tight, but much more manageable if you learn how to do the enemy toss bounce. WAH.

Mastery#245- This set is disgusting, not because the game its very easy and it doesn't require you to do anything more than just beat it, but the RNG mini game perfect for the tiles requires you to repeatedly put in one of the pre determined patterns and pray. I got kinda lucky, but it sucks.
December 8, 2025 at 4:22 PM
Mastery#244- A fun adaptation of the Arcade game. Some might even say this is better since you have the little jump attack. Perhaps I should find out some day...
December 7, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Mastery#243- Pretty straight forward fighting game set, but that final boss is a real asshole. A couple characters have some good cheese for him, but otherwise -man-.
December 2, 2025 at 1:43 AM
Mastery#242- BANGER. Absolute 10/10 video game. Worth the 50 hours spent completing this set. Ready for that new one to come out... eventually!

I played dispatch again woops.
November 22, 2025 at 4:15 PM
Mastery#241- Great game. Pretty difficult set. Needing to carry around a uncontrolled player 2 is pretty tough. Badging the sequel to down the line!
November 19, 2025 at 9:31 PM
Mastery#240- Very straight forward set. Beat the game, do a couple early challenges, find some hidden stuff. Pretty good. Bangarang and such.

Mastery#239- Poyo.
November 17, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Mastery#238- Some more portable Crash. From what I understand, the ones after this are -pretty awful-, this one at least feels like playing a crash game where most of the levels are the sidescrollers.
November 15, 2025 at 4:53 PM
Mastery#237- The need to play more Aria overtook me, so I did a damn subset. Pretty tough but very doable set.
November 14, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Mastery#236- Man there's four versions of this game and all of them have sets... another collection to strive for eventually. But I started with the scientifically correct choice, that no one can argue with. I went with the version with the best looking badge. Cool game too.
November 11, 2025 at 11:14 PM
Mastery#235- Yeah this game is kinda stinky, but for a kid in 95 on a car trip for 3+ hours, it'll do in a pinch. Without the color of the super game boy palettes though, good luck finding the platforms in those later levels! Yeesh.
November 11, 2025 at 1:47 AM
Mastery#234- Pretty much on the level of the other gameboy MMPR game, though this version does the thing where you can transform using energy and then can do a screen clear with more. So its cool.
November 9, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Mastery#233- Arguably the best mega man on the NES, although I get the MM2 preference. Playing mega man is just a great time. Nothing can go wrong surely (keep tuned to this space if I ever make it to later MMX games)
November 8, 2025 at 4:09 PM
Mastery#232- Pretty tough arcade game. Took quite a lot of practice to get used to, but it paid off in the end. On to the next.
November 4, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Mastery#231- Katamari has been on my brain recently so I sat down to finally finish through this whole thing. Cataloging is an adventure of tedium, but now I can say that I did it. Set for the sequel to happen down the line...
