The RBL in my town have installed a poppy plaque on the houses/addresses of servicemen from WW1 who fell.
It's used alongside astreetnearyou.org#=undefined&l... by local schools to keep their memories alive.

My friends lost a son in Iraq and his name is on our town cenotaph.
Plenty of people had sons/daughters and brothers/sisters KIA or injured in Afgan and Iraq.
The British public, for all of their many faults, have never forgotten the fallen.

After that I’ll do Oxford simply because it’s a new ground for both of us and that’s it.
