Won a pinball tournament tonight somewhere that I've never had a first place finish at before. Really tough competition. Opted out beforehand. No WPPRs, too bad, so sad, but at least Garden State Equality is getting a nice $49 donation tonight, in memory of "when the IFPA had integrity". ✌️

Great time in Baltimore with the kiddo! Came in 9th out of 54 players in the tourney. Saw old friends, made new ones, and met internet friends IRL. And topping it off with some excellent food downstairs. Shout out to @kellygoround.bsky.social & @exsk8pnk.bsky.social for the hangs and flips!

I am feeling a hint of optimism for the first time since the OBX flippers incident. The resignation of the WAB. The change.org signatures (3.5% of the active player base). Many TDs unified in pulling the IFPA sanctioning of their events in protest. Players suppressing. This is not going away.

...aaaaand now I lost my eAmusement card. Fantastic. Grinded for it on Voltex a few years ago, waited months for it to come in from Japan, and lost it by keeping it in the same pocket as my phone LIKE A DOOFUS. Argh.
