Another Secret Lair drop another reminder why my fiancé and I have not been spending as much on mtg the last year or two. Got in queue within 1 minute, ETA got extended by over 30 minutes, then after waiting for over 2 hours the ONE secret lair she wanted is out of stock...

Just saw the MtG release schedule for 2026. Looking forward to retuning to Lorwyn but skeptical about another Strixhaven. Sadly, it feels like I'm losing interest in MtG. I'm just not excited about the game turning into a mess of crossovers.

It's weird. I've been playing Magic the Gathering since 2007. It's been one of my favorite hobbies for over 15 years. Since the first set of 2024 with Murders at Karlov Manor I've hard a hard time enjoying the game as much as I used to.

I wonder if they printed less of the Tragic Romance secret lair or if it was actually more popular than SpongeBob.

How many people got into queue for this secret lair drop at 9am PST and wasted 5+ hours in the garbage queue system only for the drop you wanted to be sold out?
Wotc should switch back to print to demand. Unfortunately they probably won't because they don't seem to care about players.

I'm trying to make an Iron man Titan of Innovation deck but I cant figure out what the strategy should be. I already have decks for Daretti Scrap Savant Combo, Breya Thopters, and Zabaz Modular so I'm trying to figure out how to make Iron Man feel unique.

I know the bracket system is just a set of guidelines but I think there is far too much gray area between brackets 2 & 3. I think wotc should bump cedh off the bracket system as it is clearly the format of fastest and strongest decks and doesn't need definition. Bracket 5 would become "Optimized".

Thinking of posting mtg thoughts and deck building stuff on here since I already post my cooking and other hobby stuff on ig. Thoughts?
