So, hey, hi, after using this account only sparsely for the longest time, with seasonal depression finally wearing off and chicken drama subsiding (hopefully), I'm finally ready to fill this feed with some life. Which, probably, will be mostly chickens and cats and Fandom stuff. ✌️
The mini-heartattack when you check on the chicken that is so ill it might not see the next morning to change the heat pad below her and the nest you put her in is empty, and your eyes scan the floor expecting the worst and then you find her two nests away huddled against her sister.

(I still don't even know if I should attent the convention in Kassel in 2 week, mood and motivation are in the gutter, and the thought of getting into Cosplay feels exhausting rn. Hopfeully my week off next week will put me in a bit of better mood)

The garden has been awfully empty the past two weeks - soon to be former neighbor even kicked me off her contacts (my whole fam apparently) so I don't even get possible updates on him via WA status. Still heartbroken and with still no end of flockdown in sight, I'm still not doing great, yeah.
Neighbor took him with her before I even had a chance to talk. And mark my words, I will give it a week until the news make round that he vanished. I hope he makes back that 20km in one piece.

Ugh. I know exactly why my stomach is acting up today (brain is spiraling bc of flockdown), but I would prefer it didn't bc ugh, the pain and nausea are the worst.
(it's not like a wanted to loose a few pounds, but not like this....)

So flockdown hit us after all, starting tomorrow. Had a nice last sunny day in freedom and now off my money goes to order stuff to lighten the strain of confinement for my feathered bebs. Sigh.

Btw, smol update on Bluebell: I believe we pulled through, and while her lungs always be a not so good case 'thanks' to her bad genes she inherited from her father's line, she's doing amazing. Haven't seen her that chipper in forever.
