I kind of wish more drivers had died. Twisted Metal has a fantastic cast of characters but sometimes you need to kill your darlings. John, Quiet, Sweettooth, Mayhem, Stu, Dollface and (possibly) Axel all surviving a “fight to the death” lowers the stakes a bit for me.
