My wife and I did resume our game last night, and my units withdrew from the field of combat at the end of turn 7 with five mechs destroyed. However, they managed to take out a Clan Wolf Nova in the process and battering three of the remaining four

Turn 6

Am down to 3 mechs. But my wife's Clanner forces are pretty beat up and my remaining mechs are barely scratched.

So tomorrow we resume where I can hopefully pull a draw here as the Crescent Hawks desperately defend against Clan Wolf's invasion of the world they're on.

Heading into turn 5 and in typical me fashion, I am losing. Down 3 mechs to none of my wife's.

Had my Warhammer taken out by a miracle critical hit on turn 2, and a desperate DFA by my Blackjack failed, followed by my Rifleman getting blown up.

One of these days I might actually get a victory 😅

Throw people slurping their soup in there as well and that's spot on me 😄

Putting the Unit/Company/Galaxy colors on the front facing has become a thing I do on all my mech bases nowadays so that it's easier to see the forward face of the mech at a quick glance (especially since some of the poses can be a bit vague as to which is the forward face). 🙂

Legendary Mechwarriors III has some fun mechs in there that covers a bunch of favorites.

The Marauder, Marauder II, a Clan Timber Wolf, a Warhammer, a Clan Hellbringer, and a Griffin.

(I'm biased as a huge fan of both the Marauder and the Timber Wolf 😅)

lol. I do like to look at the things that folks make with 40k, but I definitely prefer the lore of Battletech over 40k. :-)

The decals I was looking at would be those for the Space Wolves as the logo for them just fits what I'm looking for for these.

I've been thinking of the lore for the merc company and when it was founded (mid 3040s I am leaning?) and once I've settled on some of the other initial details, I will throw it up here.

This mech I see as being acquired via lucky salvage a long while after the Saberwolves are founded, and after "Saber" herself retired and handed the business (and her Nightstar) to her daughter.

Definitely am a fan of the UV paint included in the livery! I may work up the courage to use UV paint with some of mine in the future.
