There are lots of other ways to address the very real harms that kids experience online:

✅ Strict privacy laws that make it illegal to harvest data and use it to recommend content

✅ Antitrust laws so we have real choices for where to go online

✅ Regulate features like autoplay & infinite scroll

Oh my god why is everyone insufferable when they first discover shrooms

I'm so glad I got that out of the way as a teenager, when I was insufferable about literally everything anyway

(assuming it included, like, actual data to that effect and not just... vibes)

Alternatively, "rich kids get their disabilities diagnosed way more consistently than poor kids with the same needs" would also be a pretty good bit of journalism. Oh well!
