Kidney stones only cause the intense back pain when the stone blocks the path from the kidney to the bladder, causing the kidney to spasm. So like I'm not living in intense pain all the time, just the threat of pain lol

Because here's the thing: I know I have a sizable kidney stone in my right kidney that my doctor is monitoring. We haven't done any procedures on it yet because it is technically still small enough to pass on it's own, but when it does I will KNOW. This is my The Big One

Update: Still no intense pain, chugging as much water as I can stomach today just to be safe

Pain is gone, but that doesn't mean it's not a kidney stone. I have given up on sleep and am now sitting up to chug water
