If I recall correctly, this one couldn't touch a sap sipper hisuian goodra holding an air balloon. Steel tera with heavy slam I think it was?

Unusual choice for the tera type, considering the only poison move hydreigon has access to seems to be belch. Chances are tera blast is going to be the poison move.

I'd say getting rid of/nullifying levitate via whatever means so you can safely use ground types is the likely play here...

Otherwise they’ve been tera raid events like the shiny rayquaza or the shiny treasures of ruin we just had.

Yeah it was the end of sword and shield’s lifespan, it was around this time of year in 2022 apparently, so after lockdown stuff. They had gotten a little better about distributions up to now, the only codes for S/V were the championship or anime type ones, which was a single code everyone could use.

I recall getting a few shiny eternatus codes for friends from them a few years back, it was just dumb luck I was there for something unrelated and I saw it advertised on a small poster on the counter. I don't know if it was announced online somewhere, they do have a relatively active twitter account

Smyths in Ireland at least has the codes last time they did this sort of code distribution, I’d keep an eye on them for sure.

I’m just thinking that one of the cases I mentioned was a list for csam that started adding furry artists (that was the only reason it got caught). It can interfere with livelihoods.

I don’t use moderation lists myself because of stuff like that, easier to just manage it myself

The problems start when someone you do know is suddenly blocking you lol. If you can't contact that person elsewhere, you're sol.

Or like the other reply to the parent comment said, you can end up falsely labelled something nasty. Like a furry might end up on a block list for zoophiles.
August 14, 2025 at 5:23 PM
This leads to accounts that have done nothing wrong being blocked by anyone subscribed to that list, with no recourse.
August 14, 2025 at 5:13 PM
The concern is moderation lists, there's been cases where a seemingly innocuous list (eg 'bullies') can be quietly abused by the creator. They start out normal, but then the creator starts adding in other users they personally disagree with but don't fit the criteria of the list.

Yeah it's the bottom text more than anything that genuinely irks me. It feels like that would've been on the back of the box before.

It's absolutely more pronounced with this specific one though, since the much less cluttered switch box is right there, you can see how the logo got cramped down etc.

Yeah it feels like it covers up half the art in combination with the big banner on top, it ends up looking really cluttered and awful in comparison to the Switch 1 box.

Oh I see! That is probably fair, it would be weird to mention someone but not allow them to reply

It’s a bit buggy on the app right now, but that is an option they’ve provided

Even if it only came as far as North America that's still relatively accessible, I can work with that if it comes to it. I'd prefer a boxed copy

And it was published by Epic, even worse. I didn’t realise Remedy were so niche that they had to sell out to the devil to get a game made. Shame that

Combine that with his new thing about moving to remove the numbers shown of retweets and likes, it'll make these new insidious ads blend in better

That was Iwata if I recall correctly, the man was a saint. Damn shame he was taken too soon, because he died suddenly he never picked a successor; even Nintendo has subsequently become very corporate, I doubt that would happen again under the current management.
