Back then, they used to give us an insert on how to make these. I guess the church assumes we should know by now!

Either way, I’m adding “palm cross maker” to my resume.

We read through the gospel of Luke this morning during Palm Sunday. If you need a reminder that you’re loved beyond reason, go ahead and pick any gospel the New Testament.

Nothing hurts my Tía (aunt) heart more than one of my nieces telling me she needs me. Guess I’ll be taking a trip to Stephenville this weekend.

My cubemate brought pancakes this morning. I don't know what I did to deserve such a kind soul in my life, but I hope this man gets whatever he wants out of this life - he told me the secret ingredient is FULL FAT BUTTERMILK.

UH Cougars just didn’t have it tonight. Still proud of them for making it this far.

Such a heartbreaking loss for my alumni. I really hope Sampson returns for another season.

It really is torture when you can’t smell anything. I loathe having a runny nose.

Sinusitis, Bronchitis, low grade fever, and double ear infections. I love this for me.

And with that, the 2025 Houston Rodeo season is over. Thank God! This girl is exhausted and sick.

I’m having the time of my life even though I’m exhausted and need a long nap. Nine (9) years and this has been the best year ever!!

The student was tending to her lamb (or animal) the day these needed to be submitted. Her mom brought in her project, and it was over the weight limit. Mom worked on it for 30-45 min trying to bring down the weight. The daughter was distraught calling and texting her. I get it, she wanted

Anyone who schedules an update meeting in the middle of lunch (11:30-12:30PM) will receive an automatic decline from me. There’s plenty of time in the morning and afternoon. If not, send an email.

Praying the Rosary in Spanish is the hardest spiritual Lent challenge I’ve ever done. I’ve memorized a few prayers already, but it’s definitely taking time and testing my patience. The weird thing is that I knew all of these when I was a kid.

Talked to my nieces tonight. Both are sick but still wanted to catchup. It’s my honor to listen to finance questions, worries about their friends, and their futures/ideas. But, when they talk to me about their faith, I’m in awe. They are God-fearing women. I’m so proud.

TV show review
- “Paradise” feels too realistic therefore it was intense the whole season.
- I’m still wrestling with “Severance”. The religious turn wasn’t something I saw coming.
- “Matlock” hands down, I love it!
- “Doc” was a lot less Grey’s Anatomy and more willpower of a woman.

Volunteering and having fellowship during rodeo season is great! This is the only time I really come out of my shell and network. We all have jobs and families away from here, but we love giving back to our community. There’s something so special about that kinda bond.

Today was the Rodeo Cup with the Horticulture committee. The students had 2 - 45 minute sessions to assemble a wreathe and then a center piece to match it. The challenge was they didn’t get the see the wreathe after the center piece was taken away. Top 20 finishers advanced.
