Right to Buy strips local authorities of their capacity to help those most in need of decent, secure social rented homes. Leeds Labour is working with the Govt on their social housing reforms - calling for an end to sales, a new toolkit to build homes and meet the housing emergency.

In Leeds, we are calling for a cessation of sales of council owned homes via Right To Buy, and a wholly reformed toolkit for local authorities to rebuild housing stock to levels that can support the many thousands in need of decent and secure socially rented homes.

Amazing afternoon at Yorkshire CCC. Lord Taverners are phenomenal in their work to ensure people are enabled to be involved in sport. We were very proud to talk about hope’s to set up a table cricket team at St Chad's Broomfield Cricket Club and amazed at the support offered in achieving this.
