If you have trouble sleeping and need a boring Wikipedia rabbit hole, here's one for you: film perforations

For instance still camera film (top) tend to use the KS (Kodak Standard) perforations, while motion picture film (bottom) use the BH (Bell and Howell) perfs

I have a question for fellow film photographers: just got some respooled #Vision3 #500T #AHU (the new one w/o remjet)

Do you have any tips on what #ISO should I expose it at? The seller says 800 if developed in C-41, but recommends 500 for better results.

BTW I had #Gemini help me write the alt description because I'm lazy, but ended up rewriting most of it (it was too detailed and verbose).

For fun I took the alt description and feeded it to another Gemini session, requesting to generate an image matching it.

I did some shopping, here's £33 worth of 35mm British film (probably one of the few things cheaper in the UK compared to Italy).

I'm eager to try the new Phoenix II, and I've never shot before HP5 nor FP4 in my life, so also them too.

I bought online a 5€ cheap 28-200mm telephoto lens for my Minolta cameras

It came:
wrapped in cellophane
then bubble-wrap
inside a well padded cardboard box sealed with tape
wrapped in brown paper
sealed with clear tape

I bought much more expensive and fragile stuff that came packed way, way worse

Weird, I'm seeing a lot of these lately here in the Po delta, and never noticed that many in the previous years.

While passing near the fridge, I quickly looked at the magnets on the side, and read "Alcatraz" instead of "Aci Trezza" (the latter being a lovely small town in Sicily).
