I’m sure it has a lot to do with what region you’re from. I’m from an economically depressed area and most moms DID work. Your mileage may vary.

I was born in 71 and my mom always worked. So did most of the moms of kids my age. I knew a few kids with stay at home moms but they were the minority.

I think Gen X was different because we were unsupervised. Maybe more than previous generations. A lot of us had divorced parents and/or both parents working.

I get a property tax bill every year and an assessment of the value. From 2009-2018 my value went down and my taxes did too. From 2018-2024 the value went up and so did the taxes. 2025 went slightly down again.

Fetterman is useless but he’s not supporting ICE here. He has said he won’t. He’s a shitty senator but if we go around saying everyone who is shitty is Hitler, it no longer has meaning. However you are free to keep doing so of course.
