While I don't have access to the article, i wonder if it mentions how the 'success' is mostly owed to the fact Poland is just one big outsourcing hub for the western companies (both production and services) and how quick that can go away(it has already started in IT, banking and consultancy space).

I'd say 50% of the population is on nationalistic side (from center-right to far-right) and it has been like that for quite some time now. Thankfully, 'expansionist' views (mostly about western ukarine), are expressed and believed by a minority of the total population.
