Puleeese. These Christians talking about sanctity? What about humsn life? Lemon is a journalist. Good thing he didn't go all "Jesus in the temple" on them. Real Christians need to speak up about this. Where have these Christians been during ICE violence and deportation of citizens?

If you've never listened to either of these compositions, listen to them. "So What?" Is the gold standard for cool jazz featuring Coltrane, Adderly, Chambers and Cobb. Written by Davis and Coltrane. Timeless as is Mahler's composition.

Con't Heard it in the film based on fiction"Death in Venice", (Thomas Mann) and the life of composer Gustav Mahler. Spectacular. There is no question the music was both setting and biography. Gorgeous cinematography. Directed by famed director screenwriter Luchino Visconti. Italian Cinema ruled.

Last night it was Miles Davis' "So What?" Cool with other extremely talented soloists. Every section sustains the color and texture. Tonight, another magnificent composition, one of the most tender pieces ever written. Mahler's Fifth Symphony No.5 Adagietto.

Manipulators lack imagination. They are one trick ponies. You have to believe what they ssy to be conned. You have to invest in their lie. And when you don't they have no power over you. Few are clever enough to be good at it. Look at this administration. Even the grand old con himself is impotent.

I am loving young people listening to Boomer era music and loving it. I am loving young folks recreating dance scenes from animated features like Charlie Brown Christmas. It's adorable. Both make me smile.

Really tired of the transgender nonsense. But not too tired to call it out. We have an entire pile of major issues more pressing than transgender athletes'activities. Why do they care? Other athletes might care maybe but these lard butt nutcases? What are they afraid of?

So glad I attended the Ice Out rally. Gorgeous day. Favorite part. All the horn honkers, wavers and especially the flat bed semi truck driver who pulled the horn on the delivery and on the return. It's a low sound almost like an "ohm." Everybody loved it

Notes on Avatar 2. Dazzling. Very long but never boring. Caricature military men. Even the way they talk. Weak choice. A kind of romanticization of various indigenous people. Strong youth speaking out. Strong family and tribal relationships. Heavy on CGI battle scenes. Strong women warriors.

Saw Avatar 2. Dazzling. Over 3 hours but never boring. That said. Full of cliches. Stereotypes. Charicatures of military men, in particular. Cameron is not fond of them, clearly. Lots of borrowing indigenous culture in again, stereotypical.

When I moved to California I wondered how in the world landlords didn't have to provide a fridge and stove!

Did 5 miles today. Forgot how far it is all the way around the trail since I was doing marathon training at the time and knew more where I was going on the way back. Thanks Google.

I lived in this town for many years but still missed some charming quirky homes and this little "neighborhood" created on an alley. The house was wild, too.

So, there is a regular fringehead and a sarcastic one. Like old timey Southern names like these, Short Betty and just Betty. It's fascinating. Other cultures seem to do that more or maybe we just don't care about name meanings. I care. The lay of the land of your birth is part of you, too.

Today, I did something I've never done, in a place I've never been, with people I've never met. Gorgeous day to carve out a trail in a forested area. 45 minute hike in, 30 or so out and work in between. Some steep terrain in a couple of sections. Labor is something I enjoy with others.
