A detailed watercolor painting of Chamuel, a masculine angel with medium-brown skin and curly brown hair. He is reclining on the ground on a plush dark blue bed. His right arm, which is partially obscured by large dark pink orchids in the foreground, is propping up his body in a sultry pose. He is gently holding a pink rose, lightly crushed in his left hand. Four of its petals have fallen off, decorating his near-bare chest. He is wearing a translucent, light pink robe that covers his shoulders and drapes over his hip, concealing just enough. With closed eyes, his expression is relaxed. Large, dark-blue wings extend past his calves, and his feet are obscured by a thick pale pink curtain. In the background behind him are three large, light purple orchids. Behind these orchids is an intricate blue and white background of lace, featuring multiple leaf and vine-like patterns and lattice-like hatching. A detailed watercolor painting of Chamuel, a dark-winged angel with brown skin and curly brown hair, holding his injured lover on his lap as sunlight wraps around them from behind. The injured angel, Sariel, has brown skin and straight hair, with damaged lavender wings and chest bandages. They rest together in the clouds, which are stained purple and yellow from a sunlight glow behind them. A traditional watercolor painting of a gorgeous warm blue sky day, shining over a majestic reddish and golden canyon with a winding river, similar to a large gorge like the Grand Canyon. Two figures sit on a cliff overlooking it. The one with red hair and pale skin has his arm around the one with white hair and gold skin, who is dressed in white clothes and seems a bit sickly. An adorable watercolor portrait of two masculine angels kissing in the warm glow of sunlight, coming in from behind. Chamuel, a strong angel with brown skin and curly brown hair, has his hand tangled in Kokabiel's hair as their lips press lightly together. Kokabiel's long turquoise locks fall around his own purple headwings and Chamuel's fingers, highlighting a small gold ring, as his own face is cast lighter with purple shadows in the sunlight.

Aw, that sounds nice! I’ve been meaning to message that I’ve been so sick lately (chronic and more) but I do want to meet up again sometime!

I totally get it! One of my conditions causes unrefreshing rest, so basically sleep does nothing and it’s so hard to start on a low battery!

What is your style?

Semi-realistic highly detailed watercolors, definitely influenced by how my eyes work! I’m don’t consider myself visually impaired, but I do struggle with low contrast and have poor peripheral vision—which translated to bright colors and tiny, small paintings!
A photo of an intricate watercolor painting of a reclining masculine figure with dark wings in barely any clothing, except stockings, underwear, and a translucently painted silky pink shawl. He has medium brown skin, curly brown hair, and is crushing a rose onto his chest with a lifted and gloved hand. Giant pink orchids, painted with lovely realism, surround him. Some pink fabric falls to the right side, and detailed hand painted blue lace fills the background. A scan of a watercolor sketchbook page of Nzuzi, a skinny Congolese man, with four colorful illustrations. One is him in a flowy blue and yellow dress at sunset, one is his hand with painted nails and a curves pinky, one is him smiling with a look of love, and one is him as a kid holding a knit blanket around him. A traditional watercolor painting of a young Mexican boy with messy hair and lifeless skin, lying peacefully on his side in a green lush field with red geraniums and fluffy white flowers. A photo of my hand holding a fairly small watercolor portrait painting of two masculine figures gently kissing. One with brown skin, Chamuel, has his hand tangled in Kokabiel’s long turquoise hair, which frames his paler face and purple headwings. A golden sun glow is behind them. Chamuel has some gold arm bands and a subtle gold ring with an inset turquoise gem.

HUGE COUPON SALE!

WE'RE MOVING! Before the end of the year, we're moving into a new place that has an office so we can finally stop working in our living room.

I don't want to have to move all the books and merch with me, so I'm running a huge coupon sale this month.

This is an amazing project and I hope it succeeds! You should connect with New Moon Network (you can find them on IG), they might be able to share this or put you in touch with community members to help make this a reality!

I'm tired of looking for stories from trans and intersex sex workers and finding far more instances of people speaking over us than instances where we get to speak for ourselves. We're 20% of the way to an anthology seeking to combat that!

A picture of the Kickstarter page showing the project is £3251 funded out of £15700 with 77 backers and 27 days to go. "20% funded"

Oh wow, this is jumping off! If any of you all want to support a severely disabled artist, I had an Etsy with some of my favorite watercolor prints and originals~ www.etsy.com/shop/sacreds...

When I have energy, I add more pieces to it haha. xD

Right?? It's literally like a constant brain stress (which also doesn't help energy levels lol).

Also idk what Elon has to do with this. He doesn't have a Cluster B disorder, and even if he did, one radical person does not represent a whole population of people.

Either way, I'm done with this conversation and disappointed that anti-stigma art led to more stigma.
sacredsapling.bsky.social
I'm really not comfortable with spreading additional stigma against people with BPD, NPD or ASPD. These are conditions due to neglect and/or abuse and often harm the person *with* them far more than anyone else. Yes any undiagnosed (mental or physical) illness can be destructive. But stigma isn't it
sacredsapling.bsky.social
If the purpose of education is to help (like provide peer support), I'm all for it, but I really disagree with Cluster B people being inherently dangerous. Even research itself shows that's not true. Plus, as someone with "definitely clinical" Cluster B conditions, I've faced that stigma firsthand.

It might be a bit unexpected, but Gabriel is actually a passionate Christian! It helps them keep their morality in check, and they actually feel quite accountable to God which is good for ASPD management too.

Even after conversion therapy, Gabriel still stayed religious (just not Catholic). #OCLore
A watercolor painting of Gabriel, a young Filipino adult with masculine features, a lot of freckles, blush, lip gloss, and pink nail polish. He’s sipping bubble tea in a turquoise sweater with a pink background behind him. There’s a star on his cheek and a couple in the background and his curly black hair is highlighted gold at the tips.

Second, latino man with shoulder length wavy dark brown hair and stubble. His ears are small and pointed, and the bags under his eyes are more defined.
Third, latino woman with her curly black hair back in a long braid. She has a very strong jawline, a scar from her chin over her lips on her right side, and defined crows feet, laugh lines, and bags under her eyes. Her ears are also small and pointed.

Show off your snake art~!

I love snakes hehe! Also Ephiel’s familiar (or whatever that creature is) is a snake hehe 🐍
A close up of Ephiel, a gold skinned wingless angel with white hair and one blue, one red eye. He has golden sigils all over his skin, though most is covered by a black body suit and white robe. A red book floats in his right hand, with a golden and white albino ball python intertwined around it. A watercolor painting of Na’amah, a curvy brown woman with a short angled black bob and intricate golden jewelry, enchanting Sariel as he lies down between her hands that glow blue. He’s transforming into feathers and several snakes move towards him, one from above and one from the side.

Some close ups! I really wanted to focus on how people with an ASPD diagnosis are almost never given support, because even self-help is all about how loved ones handle people with ASPD.

In reality, Gabriel's just a kid who was neglected by his parents, physically abused by his uncle, and adapted.
A close up on the first panel, of Gabriel stomping around his room, with his monologue reading "trouble—ASPD Diagnosis—mean for me and my family? My baby sis—therapist said it's per... These episodes of...forever?? Terrible! Nasinsilyo my life! No one will trust me. Even Nico. That's over...will my parents call the cops on me again? Put me down—like uloi—." A close up of the second panel, of Gabriel pacing again, with his inner monologue reading "I blow up—in front of—forbid from ever...having kids? Nasuk—lang ko ganiha an—they loved me in—back in juvie. Fuck this label—I'm not a sociopath. And—am then it's all...they left me with...and expected he would...make me violent too. Be better than‚has to be something—help me not destroy my life." A close up on Gabriel googling "ASPD support" and the articles that are coming up, one from Everyday Health, are "What is a sociopath?" and "7 ways to cope with someone who has ASPD." Also Gabriel's nails are painted an adorable pink. A close up on the scatter phone screens, showing more of what Gabriel googled. For ASPD coping, the articles are "Living with a person with ASPD" and "Coping with Sociopaths (ASPD)." The first one is from BetterHelp. Under his search for ASPD dating, the articles is a Quora forum asking "Are there any good points of dating a person with ASPD?" with the top results being "Hell No" and "Sucked into abuse." Other articles read "Dating a Sociopath: What to be Aware of." and "I think I'm dating a 'Sociopath.'" There's a list of "People also ask" with "Can people with ASPD feel joy? What is wrong with ASPD?" and "Can people with ASPD love?"

So when I have an hour of down time where I don’t need to rest, I sort of panic bc I don’t know how to get everything I want to get done in that time (and know I will always have more ideas than I can accomplish).

This plus chronic boredom avoidance is a mess haha
