The only reason it's so cheap/free now is they're training it on us as we use it. That's why you can't turn it off on Google for example. If it becomes actually useful the price will skyrocket.

Earlier cell phones and the internet in general had that same immediate and obvious utility. And there were some skeptics but mostly people adopted it over time. AI just sort of appeared everywhere while at the same time the champions were crowing about replacing everyone's job. It's just bizarre.

I've found zero use for it in my personal life and the best people can come up with is basically just planning vacations as far as I have heard
