I always hate these ones--I don't make playlists for my characters and never know what to say!
Simon's favorites would be Russian Romantic composers, though. Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky, etc. They tell such wonderful stories with their works.
What song represents your Tav or their journey?
Share the lyrics and why you associate them with this song.

"Did you know that there was an exact moment when ice first began to exist? It was not there in the beginning...and I have Seen it."
Simon's always been an ice/psychic type, lol (but his signature spell is Sickening Radiance, along with all the Hadar spells of course).
What is your Tav’s element?
This can be literal: Ice, Wind, Fire, Pollen, etc.
Or this can be the idiom ‘in my element’ whether it be in combat, in a tavern, inside their partner, etc.
🍄🟫 Bonus: Answer both interpretations!

Simon dies, uh, a lot. He's a frail wizard!
His first death was at the hands of Nettie.
He died again at Rosymorn, and wasn't rezzed by Withers for hours. (Simon was sent to The Wall by Kelemvor, which haunts him to this day.)
He hopes to pass as an old man with his family at his side.
How does it all end for your Tav?
This can be the result of the party failing their quest or maybe they succeeded and lived a full life, dying of old age or illness.
🍄🟫 Bonus: Who’s with them at the end?

The most influential mentor Simon had is his butler, Istorvir. An exiled Drow, he raised Simon as if he were his own son, caring for him when he was ill, teaching him Elvish, and making sure he didn't end up with a dagger in his back.
(Simon wanted to be a butler when he grew up.)
Who trained your Tav in their respective class or inspired them to become the class they did? Did they have one or many teachers? Is that mentor still in their lives?
🍄🟫 Bonus: Share their favorite memory of them.

lol Simon is a CEO in my modern AU fic, "Too Sweet". He did a little modeling during university so he always dresses to the nines in bespoke designer suits with accessories from brands you're not allowed to shop from, lol.
Behold, Astarion scanning his bio on the company's website:

Home for Simon is Silver Spring Manor, his ancestral estate in the rolling hills of Fontdale. Home away from home is the Chateau in the Upper City, of course.
And now more than ever, home is nestled in Astarion's arms, listening to his vampire settle in after a delicious bite.
Where does your Tav call home?
What city/town/village/forest/realm and what did they learn there growing up vs where they are as an adult?
🍄🟫 Bonus: If they take a new home with their partner, where do they call home together?

Simon has fond memories of roasted swan, but he also enjoys a breakfast of sausage, bacon, black pudding, beans and tomatoes. His taste in wine is ridiculously over the top.
Prompts are all over the place 😂
What are your Tav’s favorite foods? They have a preferred snack? A meal they crave from time to time? Perhaps a drink with it? 🍺 🍷 🩸 🥩

Simon's secret is already out of the bag to the party, in that he worships Hadar the Dark Hunger...
...but the secret he doesn't know yet is that he wasn't infected on the Nautiloid!
Everyone is entitled to their secrets, darling~ but not today, it’s time to fess up, what secret[s] is your Tav keeping from everyone?
Do they stay stoic or do they confess when pressed?

Simon lives and breathes high fashion, and while he spent most of his adventure in practical wizard's robes, he cleaned out the clothing and dye shops as soon as he was back in Baldur's Gate getting the party dressed to be part of his entourage! He's all about jewel tones and gold.
What kind of fashion does your Tav prefer? Do they have fashion sense or they prefer function over form?
Is there a dye scheme that’s their signature?

Simon's completely starved for words of affirmation and physical touch, having been raised in a noble house with a cold and distant mother.
He expresses his love through quality time--free time is rare for him so it's important to spend it on those who matter most!
Now for a cute one! What is your Tav’s love language? Do they have more than one?
What ways do they express and prefer to receive love?

Simon was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, raised in a noble house in the Dalelands. He's a bastard son, though after he became baron, everyone stopped mentioning that. He was brought up to embody the ideal of noblesse oblige--the Whitelilys rule Fontdale because they protect it.
What was your Tav’s childhood like?
This can be the culture they grew up in or the economic class they knew, the beginning of their education, etc.

Simon's biggest change is that he's now seeking something that makes HIM happy, not others. His entire life was dedicated to service, and though the first little crack in the dam was his son, Astarion broke through like a flood.

Did they become a better person or the villain?
🍄🟫 Bonus: Did they choose a physical change? Absorb the Astral tadpole? Become a vampire, werewolf, or other?

Simon is married! He and his wife are in a lavender marriage, and have agreed that they may take whatever lovers they wish, now that an heir is secure. (She brought her girlfriend with her to Fontdale from day 1, lol) They have a son, Vladimir, who is the apple of Simon's eye.
Who is/was your Tav’s family? Adopted, genetic, or found. Whomever your Tav started life with [good or bad] or helped them get to adulthood!

Simon is a fancy lad--he invited his wife to a very fashionable tea salon for their first date (outside of arranged meetings between their families, of course).
For him and Astarion, he'd prefer a night in, sharing one of his favorite bottles of wine by the fireplace in his bedchamber.
What’s a date out with your Tav like? This can be a ‘girl’s/guy’s night’ scenario or romantic.
🍄🟫 Bonus: If they have a partner, how does their first real date night with them go?

Simon disapproves of not following his advice, disrespecting him, and cowardice.
Ironically, since Simon would be an Evil Run replacement for Gale, he'd leave the party if you got too goody two-shoes or zealous in following a Lawful/Good god (and obviously if you caused harm to his son).
Naturally, we swing both ways:
what does your Tav disapprove of? What actions or dialogues drop that bar like it’s hot?
🍄🟫 Bonus: What action/choice would make them leave the party?

Simon's approval increases with noble sacrifice, treating children well, and indulging in unique and/or decadent choices.
To romance him, you'd have to become his confidante; approve of his worship of Hadar, and assist him in his holy mission (getting Hadar over the TOV limit, lol)
What earns your Tav’s approval? What actions or responses boost that approval bar?
Respect, love for animals, murder, etc.

Simon's enemy is his mother, Delora Whitelily. She raised Simon to be obedient, loyal, and fearful--intending to prove to Cazador that his 'training techniques' had significant room for improvement.
Now that Simon is presumed dead, she's trying her refined 'techniques' on his young son.
IT IS TIME. Tell me who’s ass your Tav and company needs to kick to complete their quest!

Simon, as High Priest, ended and began several traditions when he took power in the temple. He ended the regular practice of Sacrifice of the Body and other Sacraments of the Flesh; it's now purely a funeral rite rather than throwing kidnapped travelers into the maw of Hadar.

This could be something from their family, their mentor, their god, etc.
