I lived in Mogadishu years ago with a Somali family of twelve. I was a ‘field student’ from Washington University in St. Louis studying their history. Family showed kindness, and love to which I am forever thankful. Somalis, should be welcomed, and appreciated just as I was in their homeland.

Anthony Jackson played the iconic bassline on The O’Jays’ song “For the Love of Money”. He was only 20 years old when he recorded it, and the bassline was so influential that he received a co-writing credit for the track. (R.I.P.) 🌹
