All HW_Redspot_1 Wall Decals and Signs completely finished! They appear elsewhere in the game so that's a nice win.

That's actually partially what's going on! The Nvidia Remix tool intercepts the old 2004 source engine renderer and replaces it with a pathtraced Vulkan based renderer. So it's the Source engine for the core and gameplay, but Remix for the renderer!

Also it turns out that the business license decal is from the State of Washington... weird...

An example of making the business license, I modeled it out and then assigned maps for the material ID's, then textured in Toolbag 5!

Integrating some of @vonaether.bsky.social 's up res logos into HW_Redspot_1!

As always I actually model out the decals as objects, bake them to flats with a height map, and integrate the logo work as part of the albedo.

Still lot's to do (curtains, overall), but here's a pass on the Hippodrome on SM_Pier_1. Opted to imitate the plaster type, but change the lower window shape to be like the real life ones. Also updated the lights to be like the ones they have IRL. #vampirethemasquerade #rtxon

@houseplantsinvg.bsky.social Just came from the "Exploring Your House (In Counter-Strike)" video. I have one for you from VTM: Bloodlines! The pot is actually a trashcan! I found it on craigslist and tried to buy it, but the lady never responded.

I remastered it for my Bloodlines RTX remaster.

They got me a great logo, maze, and those sweet Boo Boo facts, so I had to make a box and put them on there, slapped a bunch of extra stickers on there too!

LaBldg08 in Blender. I usually build high poly meshes for baking base maps for texturing, instead of doing the height maps in something like Substance Designer. It feels like a more natural workflow to me for some reason. Painstaking but fun!

Doing a bit of a palate cleanse after the last #vampirethemasquerade RTX update, needed to make some stuff other than bars and diners!

I've been doing some experiments with the building textures, and it's adding a lot of depth to the Hub scenes. #RTXOn

I was absolutely DREADING finding and recreating logos, I'm very grateful for your generous donations and work, it's really unblocked and accelerated tackling these assets! And I have to mention the logo you made for the update is so genius and such a clever integration with the locations in game!
