Oh my yes. We got a city pass on a special visit to mom for Xmas in 2008. Cable car, Muni, all but bart free with the pass. Stayed in a top floor Vrbo on green just up from Fugazzi hall. And the J Church streetcar has a lovely and scenic ride.

I walked so much in the City (didn't get a car until just a couple of years before I moved away). I knew stairs, alleys and secret passages all over the city. Damn I miss SF.

I'm 1967-1989, Telegraph Hill, GG Park Panhandle, Mission and Noe Valley. Wonderful memories for me, too! Big time.

I've lived landlocked in mountains and coastal CA and HI. I miss the ocean a LOT, but have settled back into my native air and altitude. I have built a lovely retreat at my home for myself and friends, and it suits me well. Heading to the beack in 3 weeks!!!
