So what I’m hearing you say is that the current development pattern of single use zoning for housing development creates an unhealthy reliance upon cars and contributes to mental decline from lack of a stimulating environment…thankfully NYC isn’t prone to either circumstance

Honey, the NFL is a nonprofit, so are the vast majority of hospitals and universities - those institutions still make a boatload of money/profit. The state university football coach is the highest paid public employee in every state, they are paid millions a year.

You know what the #1 CAUSE OF DEATH of pregnant women is? Homicide, murdered by their (MALE) partners.
Oh, and the #1 CAUSE OF DEATH of CHILDREN in this country is GUN VIOLENCE.
Both of these are 100% preventable, but the men in charge don’t care about women and children

I set out at 22, with a $5k grant from school, on my first adventure exploring 5 European countries on my own - 25 years ago this shocked almost everyone I came across and I still don’t understand why. Solo travel is the best.

The term is of US origin, that’s why Canadians reject it. The video referred Vancouver as a “Pacific Northwest” aka PNW, City - that’s a US geographical designation. I’m sorry you’re confused
