I'm in the US and mine have always worked fine. I can access my data online and see usage on an hourly basis. Big improvement over just getting a bills that says x kWh last month ,pay up.

Let's make it four of five, eh?

I was just a kid, watching with my parents. As with MASH. But I too thought Meathead was the most interesting character, perhaps because he looked like my uncle.

I never heard that joke until about 9 months ago, but you can bet I've repeated it dozens of times since then.

I was always fine at test taking in any form, but I've had many students who probably would have been incapable of performing to their potential in an oral exam.

I don't disagree re the industry, but there are lots of people like us that need a larger vehicle that can tow. I have a boat. I drive places that require 4x4. I haul four people, a dog, and a week's worth of camping gear on long trips. No rental company would let me do that with their vehicle.

Idiots. If they can't drive they shouldn't own cars.

Let's go! I'd say start with a hundred of them. And maybe another hundred is controls. I doubt billionaires have any special qualities other than greed, but it would be interesting to see how many of them make it 2 weeks without a staff to provide for them.

I own the DVDs and remember watching it fondly in its first broadcast. Such a disappointment. They canceled it, one of the better shows on TV at the time and it still holds up.

FEWER Republians even. But they are probably also LESS Republican too.

I've had recent experiences with first-year college students who are SHOCKED to learn we aren't using class time to read any of the 7-9 books assigned for the semester. It's a rough transition for many of them.

College history prof here. MY students tell me that it depends a lot on the school; some of them arrive in college having read the classics, or even as casual readers. But now about 1/3 report never having read a whole book, as high schools are assigning excerpts or even no reading homework at all.

RIP Todd. We got to see him live on multiple occasions, but never heard him sing this song. Really interesting interpretation.

I rode that coaster on our one/only trip to Disney about 15 years ago. Even then I wondered "Who the hell is the audience for this?" because while I liked Aerosmith in the 70s, they had been off the radar entirely since their move-theme-hit from Armageddon 15 years before that.

This will end in trials, and while I don't imagine we'll imprision a former president, his lackeys should be very, very concerned.

The world should boycott all US-based games. Or if FIFA weren't utterly corrupt, they would simply eliminate the US as host entirely. What a joke.

I am prepared for his departure every morning when I look at the headlines.
