An online tickle writer, and a fan of discussion. Looking forward to eking out a comfy new home here.
Wonderful scene. I love it when one cuts straight to the middle of a tickle scene like that. It always prompts me to fill in the blanks and gets me engaged with it.

This was great! Quite the ambitious entry, and as usual, something lots of parents can relate to.

Her work here is done!

Looks like she remembered that utterly mortifying thing she did once as a teenager, only to her, it just happened.

I pity the weapons trainers who had to teach people to wield this, while constantly getting them to stop snickering.

I get that. It's kind of like playing Yakuza 1 before Yakuza 0.

0 provides context that makes the tragedies of 1 hit so much harder.

God, those faces at the end! It's like straight out of classic Disney. Great work!

Nice! I may not know you, but I'm proud of you regardless.

On a similar note, Nimbus Land in Super Mario RPG. I must be a sucker for cities up in the clouds. The music helped there, really giving off this sense of wonder when you finish climbing a vine all the way up and land solidly on a ground of pure cloud.

Also, all of Sky City. Considering I was just fighting dinosaurs in prehistory, seeing this beautiful magical renaissance, with magical lifts, teleport pads and rich robed scholarly citizens living up in the sky, all before Crono was even born, is really a wonder to take in.

Time to really date myself here.

The moment in Chrono Trigger when you approach Magus's Castle for the first time, watching the slow pan upwards, followed by the bats flying off into the night sky.

(Probably how Andrew Ryan would describe it)
January 9, 2026 at 4:37 PM
It does seem like it would check out with her (and Andrew Ryan's) views when I think about it.

I mean, from her standpoint, what has an embryo done to be deserving of "the sweat of our brow"?

"All it does is lie there, leeching off the good will of another's pregnant body like a parasite."

Also, I just don't like games that try to control your day-to-day habits period. Like, I've never touched Animal Crossing due to the way it punishes you for not playing it.
January 9, 2026 at 3:30 PM
I'm a bit similar. I don't like tacked-on RPG elements. I like them if they belong there, but even games like Where Winds Meet, with only cosmetics to sell, have too many gacha-like systems that seem like they'd just drag down whatever the game is going for.

Wish my mother was here for this. She watched both LOTR and Game of Thrones with me when they came out, and this guy terrified her.

Imagining him as a hobbit from the Shire cracks me up.

I forgot just how many of these there were. Welcome to the club!

Sorry, sorry! Got a little carried away with the roleplay. I've got a bed waiting upstairs.

(Later) So, are you gonna start fluffing those sheets or...?

I've played Sonic games before, on the Sega Genesis.

Everything after that is completely foreign to me.

That comedic cut was perfect! The whole thing played out like a cartoon in my head. Great work!

Watching her try and say that out loud was so adorable.

You're still limited to the blood codes you find in the game though, so no choosing stats on your own.
December 28, 2025 at 4:48 PM
The closest thing I can think of is Code Vein. It works a bit differently, letting you switch between various "Blood Codes" whenever you wish, which are basically classes.

However, whenever you do so, it also reallocates all your exp, prioritizing certain stats over others.
