#RobertBurns Poems, Chiefly In The Scottish Dialect was published #OTD, 31 July 1786.

The printer was John Wilson, from Kilmarnock, and the book is often referred to as the ‘Kilmarnock Edition’. The volume sold out its run of 612 copies within a month.
