I also think it's a shame we never get to see Queen Beryl being goofy at any point in the manga or any other versions of the series. She looks so cute here!

Something I never see people mention is how the Sailor Moon Raisonne art book revealed Queen Beryl's past self's name was Berylea / Berirea (ベリレア). I'd love to see this come up in future adaptations, and it only makes me want the other Sailors to have real Princess names even more.

I've never watched any of the previous Winx Club shows and I know very little about the franchise, but I've watched several reviews of the new reboot on YT and it looks atrocious. Makes me appreciate Crystal, it's that bad.

I could be wrong, but my impression is that astrology has maintained a fairly steady popularity in Japan over the years (though blood type has probably held more cultural significance). Maybe there was a lull in the early '90s?

The closest incident I can think of is in Act 5 of the live action series when Ami hears her horoscope on the radio. Beyond there, I don't think there's any indication in any version of the series that any of the characters believe/are interested in astrology.

Given the basic theme of Sailor Moon, it's wild to realize the series has a complete lack of in-universe references to astrology. You'd think Usagi or Minako at least would be shown checking their horoscopes once or twice, but no, somehow that never happens🤯

Usagi is sitting on the hood of Haruka’s yellow car, a Toyota 2000GT, alongside Luna and Artemis, who are standing and playing musical instruments. The car is flying over the Crystal Palace in Crystal Tokyo, and beyond the palace you can see a night sky with a full moon. Usagi is wearing an outfit inspired by Dua Lipa’s look in the Levitating music video. She has a ruffle piece that goes from her shoulders down to her chest, resembling Super Sailor Moon’s skirt (white with a gradient trim in yellow, green, and dark blue). She’s wearing a short, sleeveless white one-piece romper that covers her torso and ends in very short shorts, and the hem of the shorts features the same gradient as the ruffle. She’s wearing the transformation brooch from the classic 90s anime, and from it, flowing pink ribbons swirl around her like in her transformation sequence. Her hair is billowing, and among the blonde strands you can see a few dark brunette highlights as a nod to Dua Lipa’s hair in that AMV. Usagi appears to be singing, since she’s holding a microphone modeled after the design of the Cutie Moon Rod. She’s wearing arm warmers that don’t cover her hands, featuring pearls along the upper edge, reminiscent of Princess Sailor Moon’s glove details. On her forehead, there’s a crescent moon symbol. Her boots are short and red, and the top of the shaft has Sailor Moon’s signature pointed upward cut, along with a crescent moon detail. Luna is playing guitar and is wearing a purple suit inspired by the style of the mascots in Dua Lipa’s video, along with a blue transparent visor with a built-in microphone. Artemis is also wearing a full-body suit, but in green, and he’s playing an acoustic guitar. Nearby, Luna-P is flying while playing a synthesizer, wearing a suit that gives her mechanical arms and legs. On the far left, there’s the 90s Japanese Sailor Moon logo with the added text “Levitating” in the style of Dua Lipa’s music video.

I loved it as a kid, but as an adult, it drives me crazy how inconsistent Sheridan's characterization is. Some episodes he's a radical anarcho-communist hooligan, others he's a pampered, effeminate (gay) mama's boy. The Jekyll & Hyde of nineties Britcoms.
