As you all know, I lost Alice a little before Christmas. But the cat distribution system has been hard at work, because my cousin texted me today about a friendly cat living in a local colony who needs a home. I'm bringing him home Thursday! I'm so excited. I need a name for this little guy!

We said goodbye to Alice this morning. My heart is broken, but I know it was the right thing to do. I miss her so much. I adopted her Dec. 26, 2007. We had almost 17 wonderful years together.

I'm really enjoying Veilguard, as long as I don't think too hard about it, because then all the seams start to show and I remember all the stuff I dislike about it. But I'm 14 hours in and very much love my little freak of a Rook, Nel. He's Mourn Watch and I love him.

We finally got a plumber out to look at the fucked up flooring (clearly water damage, behind the wall is my shower) and it's bad. Lots of mold. The plumber was very serious about us getting it taken care of ASAP. We only noticed the flooring recently because it's under a large piece of furniture.
