Ironed the one block after lunch and nope even worse. So new route is just making a whole new batch of flying geese. I’ll have extras but I’m sure I’ll use them eventually.

This Sawtooth Star is the quilt block that gave me issues yesterday. One of the new flying geese is still giving me an issue but I’ve identified what the issue is and believe I can fixe it with re-ironing it.

I think the big sections outside of the main body (like the 98% of a page in the upper corners) I might do black work in. Just to like subtly fade into the Aida from my five rows of solid black I started putting in.

I was debating on actually doing the backfilling in black bc the Aida is already black (trying to save from buying 32 skeins and can’t afford a cone) but the backfill just makes everything POP so nicely.

I also screamed while watching The Pitt “is that Iron Will?!” And yes, it was.

I grew up watching this movie. It’s one I can watch/listen to while cooking or crafting in a separate room and follow along perfectly
