🌹at Tiffany's urging I'm reading Ram V's Detective Run and I LOVE that Bruce has this little icon bank for contacting all his superhero friends, like did he custom commission artwork of their insignia for this? I SO hope that he did that would be SO Bruce

🟠seriously it DOES stick out to me that Marvel's SORTA jockeying things around a Devil's Reign set-up (Mayor Kingpin goes evil using the Thunderbolts as henchmen & purpleman tech) and Emperor Doom (Doom uses purple man tech to mind control earth only wonder man immune)

🟠I am forever mad that Jellystone had such a fire Jetsons revamp? like firstly that Elroy redesign is amazing and I DESPERATELY wish I had an emoji full face mask like that, but also they find a better spin on the Jetson's central joke

🟠my most boomer take is that Yoplait Whips used to be the TASTIEST thing and now I just can't fucking find any of them at the store? well okay they have strawberry, orange and there endeth the list, NONE of the bomb ass other flavors they used to, yogurt sucks now IMHO

🟠remember when it turned out Badrock could like asexually reproduce? MAYBE? (it's possible he found a fellow rock partner out in space but the comic doesn't explain so my headcanon is he can just asexually reproduce)

🟠what's funny is you've got stuff that is technically "canon" that STILL doesn't totally feel natural like Slaver Ant from Supreme (I've been trying to come up with a space book for awhile now but the characters are SO aggressively thin and there's SO little to work with or direct you style wise)

meet Bloodwulf, the pre-existing Lobo knock-off (big problem with "space" is that it's terribly underdeveloped for the setting, you can create OCs easy enough but that gets into the whole "organic to the material" feel/debate)

🟠for the record I like Sophie Campbell's re-design of Riptide 5000 where she's more of an athletic look but I'm not sure it's a homerun reworking comparatively

Who else was it gonna be? Look Badrock is perfect, "what if Ben Grimm was an actual kid?" is a great premise and he looks amazing even MORE so when you put him in civilian clothes, he looks like a light hearted all ages character who can handle heavy character work sometimes

it's not hard to see why Chapel is the Youngblood whose gotten the MOST play as a villain, he's the guy who killed Spawn and has repeatedly come back around as an all powerful monster man and YEAH it shows! He's the only evil YB who could hold down a solo villain comic IMHO

I hate that Shaft is just perfect, he's the best Roy Harper design we never got. The fact his bow doesn't have a string is stupid and lazy but literally everything else about him is great when you don't have Bobby drawing him, also him being an FBI agent chosen to be a hero is kinda funny
