Good insurance that will cover anything and not bankrupt me on first deductible?
Though I guess with rates going to the moon I might just go without, and put whatever I can into a savings account...

That's like saying that anybody who works in the medical profession is a piece of crap that supports the pharmaceutical industry. Or that all cops are corrupt pieces of shit. I would say 99% of the time. Most people are just trying to do a job, earn a living and be somewhat comfortable

I would disagree on many levels. First off if someone is joining the military, they're not doing it generally for bad reasons. They're doing it for the same reasons as they did before.
Most of the people in the military today are not fascist or supporting of fascists. They're just there to do a job
December 10, 2025 at 6:07 PM
And that is just one of many situations.
I joined cause I was homeless. But also because I saw all the hate and thought of I joined I might be able to help keep people from doing things that'd haunt them the rest of their life.
And I knew better... Dad and brother were ex military...
Optimism...

Oh I agree.
But do you recall being 17? If you were in a lower income family, I can guarantee that was one of the last things on your mind for when you were 18, graduated high school, and couldn't afford college. So your prospects for the future are flip burgers or join up.
December 10, 2025 at 4:20 PM
I get that on one hand but that doesn't change the reality for many people.
Most people don't give two shits who's the CIC is, they care about getting out. Or getting into school while the contract still has a GI bill.
I think more people should learn to be devil's advocates, things are never B&W.
December 10, 2025 at 4:10 PM
...that are bad apples.
December 10, 2025 at 4:07 PM
By realizing that they join for different reasons often than you think.
Because they're patriotic. Or think that they can make a difference.
Or they're tired of feeling low prospects for the future.
Sure there are some off people that join. But just like with police, it's the few, not the many...

BYOB.
December 10, 2025 at 4:03 PM
The same people who did before.
Kids with patriotism in mind, thinking they can make a change and stand for what's right.
Kids with little prospects and needing a way out.
People who see no other choice. I was homeless when I signed up.
Kids who need tuition when prices for education are high

I'd pray for God's perfect justice...

Abused children.
December 4, 2025 at 11:18 AM
Lol did I say that I did?
December 1, 2025 at 5:46 AM
No, that's distributing pedophilia.
Some redaction has to be done. Not a whole lot as I'm sure they're scrambling to do, though
December 1, 2025 at 1:11 AM
Yeah, most certainly won't be holdin my breath on that one.
But if they did actually release them, so many of them are going away.
November 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM
Nah. Not going to stop till they release them with minimal redaction.
Cause then we can start removing pedos on both "sides" of the government.

My daughter coined him "orange Fanta rapey hands"

Actually let me restate that. None of them should get pension unless every one of their constituents is also eligible for pension.
Considering pension is no longer given for nearly anybody anymore, they shouldn't have it either
November 24, 2025 at 5:05 PM
Well if they retire at least they'll be out of our fucking hair.
But I think that any of them that resign in the middle of a term should not get pension
November 24, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Seems like that guy might be an angry incel or something.

How about finding a way to make it to where we can afford medication that we are prescribed by our doctors? Manjaro costs $800 a month. So I don't take it. Got the first 3 months for 25 bucks and I thought that was the price after insurance. Then had to suck it up through withdrawal. Feels great
