I've seen a couple of the people I follow port their accounts to a different PDS and I'm wondering if it's possible to do that while still keeping my current handle from my own domain. Does anybody know? Maybe it depends on the specific PDS you're trying to move to.

I just had a thought: what if there is some heretofore unknown law of conservation of wonder, such that every time you take a picture of a breathtaking splash of sunlight on leaves, some other stupid-looking photo has to be created to balance it out. And that’s why Kash Patel exists.

Sometimes we have no choice but to act like things will work out. And I find that doing so helps me do the things I need to do, which in turn makes it more likely things will work out. While there's life, there's hope. And if the future is uncertain, so it has always been. It's okay.

I'm sorry they're having a hard time. It's a weird and scary time, and the future is so uncertain. My eldest is the same age and having similar worries. I'm just encouraging him to take time to find out what he likes and what he's good at during the first two years, and to just keep going.
