i always thought sakuma looked a bit weird in the first close up but i rewatched and noticed he's actually looking to the front.. it's when he says he's happy he finally talks with kidou eye to eye 😭😭😭

but yeah many people especially younger fans mistake kidou's growth as simply fleeing himself from kageyama for treating him badly when kidou himself doesnt care about the pain kageyama caused to HIM. he is afraid of BECOMING LIKE kageyama. like our guy sakuma says here
