22. Macross Delta: Zettai Live!!!!!!
was a bit disappointed at first that it was a follow up to the movie and not the series so it didn't cover a lot of hanging threads the show had, but then the last ~40 minutes or so hit and WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUUUUUCK THIS IS PEAK!!!!!!!!!!!! IM STILL CRYING

21. Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre
definitely more of a recap than a full retelling, considering there's almost no development of the antagonists at all. that said, a few of the timeline swaps and the extended final battle make it an extremely good companion piece to the series.
