Really, you can't think of any game that CD Project Red is making that they would like to promote with more Witcher 3 content?

Yeah, the windows terminal is odd. conhost.exe probably goes back to the DOS days.

I don't know if there is a great way to explain this without delving into command shells...

Just put a batch file (text file with *.bat extension) in the directory with:

conhost.exe "The Ground Gives Way.exe"

Running that should work on windows 11

No, but I think it's probably a bit better and fairer. I agree, society should fund the arts, but for every Mozart there were 100 Salieris. Patreon is the more explicit patronage system I guess.

There is already a patronage system in place through crowdfunding. It has its ups and downs.

This is a repeated thing with trump, he also goes on unhinged rants about modern architecture and art and stuff like that.

Excuse me, but in America, it's called Futból.

You know you can start typing with the dropdowns and it will go to any matching selection right?

Also, it is a picture completely misunderstands Arizona, but that is whatever.

I really think this movie is the thesis for why Bay is not well liked. Deservedly so. He goes through all the trouble of drumming up a custom premise - and then it ends in a chase whiz bang picture that could be about anything.

Your cube looks kinda stale.

It's a golden age for games that streamers make videos playing. I'm worried about a collapse when google and amazon stop subsidizing the free marketing.

Idk, it just comes across like this dude doesn't know how to use godot, honestly.

Why not use Array.has(true)?

Nice! Traditional roguelike's would be killer apps on steam deck, but they always have full keyboard input requirements.
September 12, 2025 at 5:29 AM
Four action buttons? Will it have controller support? That would be amazing!
September 12, 2025 at 5:04 AM
Actually, you don't do any of that. It sits in your steam library while you watch northern lion do it.

You don't need to design games anymore, now you just make run based pachinko with metagaming and micro-transactions bro. Kidding.

The internet is a series of tubes, but all tubes lead to a tri-opoly of hosting providers.
August 24, 2025 at 9:09 PM
They'll get away with it too, as long as there is a monopoly on the ownership and administration of the servers that actually make up the internet. Self Hosting is the only way through.
August 24, 2025 at 9:09 PM
I think it is just oversaturated as a genre.

For game categories to keep being popular you need passionate developers making interesting games that represent the category. When it is a marketing label for following the same kind of formula, it gets old.
August 24, 2025 at 8:38 PM
It's also definitely tail wagging the way games are getting designed. I thought the whole point of being indie was that you didn't have to do what everyone else is doing.
August 22, 2025 at 5:48 AM
It's the same thing with other cheap schlock. Shock value comedy, muzaak, jump scare horror... cheap gamba rogue-lites are going more the way of those
