I've just read a 2014 interview with Peter Capaldi about his run as #DoctorWho (right before it premiered on BBC America) where he says he'd like to see 1960s Cybermen with the cloth faces return, cos they were creepier, but Stephen Moffat says no - and then look at that last story in series 10!

My family no longer exchanges gifts (which I prefer) therefore for Christmas I got almost everything I wanted: a huge pile of books, several Lego kits, half a dozen 4K movies, 3-4 Transformers, the Beatles Antholgy box, and I can eat all of the cinnamon rolls myself

I was annoyed last night to discover that my Hallmark Keepsake Ghostbusters ECTO-1 car ornament (which I have out year round), which lights up and does the siren, had 'died', and I didn't have replacements for the 3 LR44/357 type button cells it needs.

Watching "Bell, Book and Candle" (1958) (it's a Christmas movie!) for the first time ever, and seeing James Stewart struggling to drink the foul-smelling magic potion reminded me of my colonoscopy prep, #IYKYK
