Earlier this year, I worked with my colleagues to secure $1.25 million in funding for Roca's Young Mothers Experiencing Acute Trauma pilot program. I am proud to support this program which looks out for an extremely vulnerable population of young women who are too often unseen and overlooked.

We must remember all of those individuals who are no longer with us, and celebrate our friends in the trans community and remind them that they are loved and always welcome.
