Earlier this year, I worked with my colleagues to secure $1.25 million in funding for Roca's Young Mothers Experiencing Acute Trauma pilot program. I am proud to support this program which looks out for an extremely vulnerable population of young women who are too often unseen and overlooked.

Five years after Richard McKinnon’s passing, I'm proud that we are honoring his incredible legacy in Cambridge by renaming North Point Park to Richard McKinnon State Park. It was my honor to file & pass legislation that will ensure Rich's memory will continue to live on.

On Transgender Day of Remembrance, we honor those in the trans community who have lost their lives due to anti-trans violence. We must remember all of those individuals who are no longer with us, and celebrate our friends in the trans community and remind them that they are loved and always welcome.
