Well, I went into labor at 11am and by 2pm I had given birth, nearly in the car. Kari called me at 2:30. It went to voicemail, obviously, and she left a message saying,

“I bet you’re in labor. Don’t call me back, you’re on maternity leave!”

Quick Kari Dziedzic story that came to mind today, my youngest’s birthday.

The week of my due date Kari and I kept playing phone tag, but we really needed to talk! We were in the middle of hiring her a new LA. I called her at 10 AM and it went to voicemail, she texted that she’d call me back.
