Every now and again on here I encounter weird.
Weird and confusing, in the potential malignance.
Weird in the sense that someone’s written expression of their thought process seems to omit helpful steps, & they come across abrasive or downright insulting. Maybe that is their intention.

The national curriculum barely scratches the surface of what we can learn, so why stop? I certainly have not.

Of course by the time I paused for breath he was on his phone because he also is waiting for an ADHD assessment & he zoned out fairly early on.

Still, I’ll keep trying.

The Universe has facilitated our evolution into an advanced creature with incredible capacity for application of intelligence. We do the universe a disservice by maintaining these backward processes.
So science.. mandatory. Alongside philosophy, literature, the arts, history, and so on.

with crisp precision, is the ultimate goal. And not to stop there but to be able to do so from different perspectives, in different contexts.
Anyone can acquire knowledge. Pick up a phone, google, watch YouTube, read a paper. Words & pictures are data. It can be called knowledge but look at USA

I expressed that science & learning are about platforms of knowledge, experiment & application of theory. That knowing data is only half the battle: that refining one’s thought processes in the way that a surgeon or an artist refines fine motor skills over decades, to wield critical thinking
