Anyways, despite all the weird, creepy, kinky stuff I've read over the years, those fics certainly were up there among the most disturbing things I've read.

Seriously, though, that fic seemed to shift from fantasy to horror as soon as he converted. And I remember checking their other fics...

... and every single one was like that. Halfway through, it would switch to Christian propaganda.

Gotta say though; nothing quite made me so enthusiastic to leave the church as fast as that fic did. They nailed the creepy cult vibes. The character 180. The abrupt, now constant judgement and weird, pushy demands that follow.

At that moment, I had a firm understanding of what propaganda was, and a great disgust for it, as it ruined an otherwise perfectly good fanfic.

Though if the writer actually wanted to emphasize how out of place/creepy Christian propaganda is in the real world, they certainly succeeded.

They'll probably be fine. Though if you leave them alone too long, they might just have to learn to use the stove.

I have a SYSTEM for cooking spicy food. I have RULES. Minimum five types of chili. Two types of oil to balance delivery—one must be spiced oil. (I have three options for spicy oil.) flavors need to be chosen to hit all at different times, so each flavor can be tasted individually.

These new shops don't know I have a literal one-foot cube for overflow spices in my pantry, half of which consists of chilis/peppers. I restock it regularly because I run out. I buy everything in bulk. I've given up on the pantry for some and just keep bulk bags on top of the spice rack.

This is gonna sound totally weird, because you know the creators were prob going for a Girlboss BDSM thing, but the way she sits reminds me of how I sit. I have a rotated pelvis that's fused to my spine. My options are sitting like a haughty Japanese woman or criss-cross-applesauce.

Just a headcanon, but I think she was so competent that other researchers tried to have her killed. So she killed them. This would explain why she's flanked by military personnel instead of other researchers.

I'm also 100% convinced the dude under her feet volunteered to be here.

And if I may add: She's also not afraid to do her own dirty work when it comes down to it, and and that is an A+ quality in a section manager, IMO.
