I had a Chestnut brown ale on Sunday that was noticeably nutty tasted, but this one didn’t really have any flavour of pecans. You could maybe convince yourself there’s a maple flavour but not enough

Our first Christmas themed beer from the calendar from San Francisco and it’s 7.9%!
It reminded me of a winter ale I had in Oslo, Norway. Some spice flavour to it, but have to warm the beer in your mouth to actually taste any.

Our first Christmas themed beer from the calendar from San Francisco and it’s 7.9%!

Was at my work’s Christmas Do last night. Went to a place called Sam’s Chop House. Overall the meal was fine (see alt text on images for food reviews), available drinks could have been better, I wish the ceiling in the dining area was higher.

Dunno if keeping it in the fridge all day reduced the sour taste to it, but it wasn’t that sour or tart as expected, quite pleasant to drink but don’t want a night on it.

Forgot to post here that I’ve been baking again. This time though I made the pie casings so I could get deeper/thicc-er pumpkin pie. But cause it filled all of 1 pie case, I had to buy ingredients for pecan pie for the other case
