I’m not calling them better, but there are some very good Californian whiskeys out there to plug some of that gap. Redwood Empire, Hooker’s House, St George (also has top notch gin) to name three I like. Leopold Brothers in Colorado also.

Denzification was pretty successful considering how the far right never really got a real stronghold in Germany in the past 80 years. The 1970s in West Germany - wild times! The Baader-Meinhof faction is an easy rabbit to slide into. The 1970s in lots of places were pretty wild though.
