tbf, the pallet-palette-palate mix up is another level. I’ve been thinking about someone who washes pallets whose job title is Pallet Cleanser. Or a bottle of cleaning fluid in an artist’s studio called Palette Cleanser. #confusing

We had a Ulysses in nursery years ago. I accidentally called him Odysseus once & he looked very confused.😆

Ptolemy is going to spend his whole life spelling that out & explaining the pronunciation over & over again. (Bad enough the endless ‘no i’ in Page. Boring!)

I think of Ptolemy as a tortoise with a string bag of lettuce. Mr Algernon Ptolemy. I always pronounced the P 🤔
