For the fourth time this week, the ship's cooling system is on the fritz- meaning another few hours of sweating in the engine room with Rocket.

Somehow, you don't really mind all that much.

"What, you just gonna stand there? Quit gawking and gimme a paw with this, will ya?"

Rocket's status as a genetic experiment comes with the responsibility of monthly upkeep.

I think he's realized that it all goes by lot faster with someone else in the room.

While on a cargo bay stakeout mission with Rocket, there's a lot of waiting around.

This tends yield three things: probing questions, stupid bets, and realizing that your shipmate is absolutely packing heat.

"...so anyways, I configured a low-power tractor beam on the inside, which really gives it a- oh you gotta be flarking kidding me. NOW these scut-bags decide to take the bait? Seriously?"
