Some cope by predicting that they're the chosen few who should steer the great beast and some cope by pretending that it isn't that big of a deal but even if you see fewer people claiming it straight doesn't work everyone is still coping in *some* way

I've found that applying to positions I didn't even want for myself was extremely helpful because they were interviews where I had zero pressure and could experiment

I meant why a different model yeah. This all makes sense, the intuition for using a different model is reasonable I was just wondering if there happened to be more backing it up.
