My name is Taraji. I created this account for my elderly mother (70 years old) who suffers from diabetes and nerve weakness. She lives in a crowded tent with my brother’s family, but she needs a quiet tent of her own to escape the noise and stress. 💔😞

My son has been severely malnourished for three months, with digestive and immune system problems. Even after milk and food entered Gaza a week ago, he refuses to accept anything and is on intravenous drip. Help me treat him and be generous.

I find the longer title more evocative, but maybe it works better for a short story than a movie.

The long title tells me there are several ghostlands (is that some kind of theme park?), and that there's some kind of after-the-fact investigation.

THE WHITE DRAGON (1978)
Acrylic on Masonite - 20" X 30"

Although this is the third book in the series, it was my first Pern cover and I was determined to create the dragons as faithfully to Anne McCaffrey's description as possible. 1/5
Ruth, a pearl white dragon with green eyes, poses regally with wings spread against a cliff face. Her rider Jaxom rears back, saddle-mounted just above her wings. A foreclaw grips rock as the other releases, flexing like fingers. Ruth's tail, marked with a parallel ridges of short spikes and ending in a spade-shaped tip, curls forward around her back leg. A tiny dragon grasps Jaxom's finger, perching like a bird. Across the misty valley, a group of dragons take flight, soaring past the Red Star which hangs in deep blue sky like a bloody moon just above the jagged spine of mountains.

Palestinian babies like Anas are being starved to death in Israel's genocide while their families are violently displaced by the IDF. Bluesky deletes them relentlessly. Please help by sharing & donating if you can to cover the costs of food, healthcare, shelter (still less than 500 dollars raised):

On the last pages of M. E. O’Brien and Eman Abdelhadi's Everyone For Everyone, and then I'll read Silvia Moreno-Garcia's new sword and sorcery novella The Lure of Stone, followed by Lavie Tidhar's Golgotha.

Like colonial times, when the colonised had no say in decisions that control their lives, it's the same for the Palestinians now.

Sajjad Hassan draws parallels between the two manmade famines and argues that Israel should not escape accountability like the British.

I wish I had the words to make people see me as human. To break past the dehumanization. The words that would make everyone understand if they just heard them. I keep imagining there’s some magic arrangement of words I know that could do it - even as I know I can’t. I just got to try and hope.

The memorial for my friend and colleague Awdah Hathaleen, murdered by a settler 40 days ago

Interrupted by the Israeli army of course, since the occupation will not allow us to even grieve in peace
