Hang in there. There are people fighting. Until 2016 I considered myself to be Republican, but have joined the Baytown Area Democrats and have been attending every meeting. I’m not giving up. We have to stand up to these bullies!

I do have student who doesn’t understand why they can’t be called by their preferred name and it’s just so sad. There is a perfect Venn Diagram right now between ignorance and hate. I fear that our great country will never recover.

It has been almost a year since I’ve been on X and I have not been on this site much because it’s not good for my mental health. Getting back to school has been good for me. Getting in & working with the kids is great. Summer was rough!

No mention of the Horns and their anemic offensive performance? 🤪 I watched the entire game and just chuckled. It’s a shame that it’s taken our democracy going down in flames to put football in perspective for me, but it has. 🤷♀️🤘🏻

Yeah, it’s tough. We now know exactly how Nazi Germany happened. It’s so frightening. I have started to become involved. I went to a town hall, where republicans did not show and I am going to go to a rally. I pray they will be defeated.

Not sure if they have actually created a bill for that to vote on, but they have floated it. They are monsters.

It means that each county gets one equal vote. So Harris with 4 1/2 million gets one and Loving with 130 people gets the same representation.
